Health and Welfare
Welcome to the new Health and Welfare section of the Holstein UK website.
It is a well established fact that the health and welfare of our cows is a primary concern to all milk producers.
Healthy cows are more productive and longer lasting than those facing physical challenge making them more profitable - essential in the current climate of decreasing margins.
This section of the website is intended to provide an instantly accessible source of information on a wide range of health and welfare issues.
If there is a particular topic or paper you would like to see included, please email
