An enthusiastic crowd of mums dads and members attended the Central Counties Calf show to watch the young members and calves trying to qualify for the National Calf Show. It took place at the Rugby Mart at Stonleigh on the 26th August. Our judge for the day was Andrew Smith from Cheshire.
We were very fortunate with the weather and were pleased that some of our sponsors were able to attend. Without the sponsorship of Heygates, Bocm Pauls, Titmuss Grain Ltd., Chrystlclear Holsteins, Semex, Genus, Pfizer, King Street Sire, Worldwide Sires, Bullsemen.com. we would not be able to hold our show, so our thanks go to them.
The Novice Showman was won by seven year old Joshua Steeples, Junior Handler Millie Coulson Love, intermediate Handler Emily Barrett and Senior Handler Milly Shipley. The Champion Handler was won by Milly Shipley and the Reserve was Emily Barrett.
