Holstein South & Wiltshire held their annual dinner dance on Friday 31 January 2014 at Grittleton House near Chippenham. Chairman Jeremy Fox welcomed 83 members and guests including Jimmy and Angela Wilson and Meurig James. He then asked Club President, Richard Walker, to say the grace after which everyone applauded as it was quite an amusing one!

A traditional roast beef dinner was served followed by The Loyal Toast proposed by Jimmy Wilson who then presented The Len Smith Trophy to Laura Cooper of the C.B. Cooper Partnership (Noremead) for the member obtaining most points in club competitions during 2013. D B & H Miles (Withamhall) were placed second with Alan Gregory (Boxbrook) close behind in 3rd place. After which a raffle was held in aid of club funds.

Meurig James gave an amusing and very informative after-dinner speech and John Stratton gave the vote of thanks. A disco rounded off the evening.
