East Midlands Holstein Club
The East Midlands Holstein Club's Annual Dinner was held on Friday 25 October. Judge Brian Moorhouse (Aireburn) gave an extremely entertaining speech and spoke of his enjoyment judging the competition and the occasional hairy moment being driven between farms.
Andy and Mimi Birkle’s Whinchat herd went on to be runners-up in the National Premier Herd Competition, the second year in succession the Club has been runner-up, with the Winter families Corringham herd achieving the same accolade in 2012 – quite an achievement for a small Club!
