Holstein Scotland South held its’ annual Herds competition dinner at the Strathaven Hotel with judge Jimmy Hodge from Lemington guest for the evening.
Having travelled throughout Scotland covering Lanarkshire, Dumfries and Galloway, Dundee, Fife, Strathclyde, Aberdeenshire and Kintyre, he commented on the fantastic presentation of cows.
Winning the top herd was Brian and Valerie Davidson’s Errolston herd, while Brian Yates’s East Logan herd won a new trophy presented by Animax for the lowest cell count.
