Staffordshire Club’s Winter Classic Competition

The Staffordshire Club’s Winter Classic Competition took place over the 26th and 27th January with Roger and Dianne Steeples from the Cramar herd kindly judging.

With 14 entries, including three new herds it was an exceptional competition. Many thanks to stewards Rob Parkinson, Janet Law and Chris How, as well as thanks to Andrew Dutton and John Lomax for providing a much appreciated lunch.

The presentation took place at the Coach and House with 28 members gathering to enjoy a meal before Dianne commended the quality of cattle they had seen and how enjoyable the two days had been.

This year four new trophies were presented with thanks to The Hill family, John Lomax, The Marshall family and Chris and Maureen Howe.

Achieving the most points across all six classes were JE and EM Marshall’s Overseal herd.

The Staffordshire Club is extremely proud to be able to congratulate Tom Hill from the Hydaways herd on becoming the latest winner of the prestigious Holstein UK President’s Medal Award. Tom has been and is still a very committed member of HYB.
