Yorkshire Winter Herd Competition

Yorkshire Holstein Club held their Annual dinner on Friday 31st October at The Bridge Walshford. 
 
They were joined by guests from Lancashire and North East clubs along with National HUK president Randolph Miller. Peter Waring, club president, thanked all for coming and Richard Green thanked the judge for the herd competition, Mr Mark Cornthwaite, from the Kirkwood herd, Lancashire. 
 
Mrs Miller presented the prizes to the winners of the herd competition. 
 
The Club would like to congratulate the Yorkshire HYB co-ordinator Georgina Fort for reaching the finals of the President’s Medal and being a runner up.
 
In April the Club held a stock judging by kind permission of the Clarke Family and their Startover herd, judges for the evening were Michael Lawrence from the Lynholme herd and Andrew Spicer from Holstein UK.
