The annual club Quiz Night, organized by Catherine Elmes, was held on 27th October at The Avebury Club.
Five teams took part in what turned out to be a very enjoyable and fun evening with a variety of questions and the eventual winning team was the combined Jersey/Holstein team captained by Zoe Clear.
An excellent buffet supper was provided by Caroline Huins to conclude the evening.
Thank you to all those who attended, especially those who had travelled from further afield to make the evening such a success.

December 1st (Tuesday) Meet @ 10.45 am
Farm visit to Oram & Sons, Manor Farm, Allington, Devizes, SN10 3NN, by kind permission of Richard Oram. In the last 12 months some 200 cows have moved from loose housing and an older herringbone parlour to a green field site with an umbrella building covering cubicles and 4 Lely robots.
Afterwards lunch is available at The Bridge Inn, Horton, Devizes, SN10 2JS, 2 course lunch either Christmas Carvery OR Vegetarian Option + Dessert at £9.99 served from 1 pm.
Numbers will be needed nearer the time.
