Winter Classic Competition

This took place on January 20th, and was managed in just the one day. The judge was  Steve Miller (Shanael)  and  visits to the 10 entrant’s farms were kept on schedule by steward Chris Howe. Many thanks to Mary Marshall for the quick lunch.

At the conclusion of judging 5.30pm results were finalised  giving Maureen time to prepare the certificates ready for the Presentation of awards after  the very good evening meal at The Coach & Horses,  Abbotts Bromley.

Following this Steve congratulated all the entrants, remarking on the quality of all the cattle he had enjoyed seeing during the day. Then the results were announced and prize cards and trophies were presented by Steve.

The herd winning the Cope award,  for the most points across all the classes,  was  A & D MacKellar  (Drointon)
Vote of thanks was given by the Chairman Janet Law which concluded the Winter Classic event.
