Success in Belgium

The club would like to say congratulations to Anna Goldie of Wiskemanor Holsteins who travelled to the European Young Breeders School in Belgium to represent Holstein UK in September. Competing in clipping, showmanship, judging and washing Anna achieved a second in her showmanship class and a fantastic 29th overall.

All Breeds All Britain Calf Show

A strong team of calves and handlers made the trip down to Malvern to represent the club in October. Three out of the four handlers finished in a top ten position and four out of the six calves doing the same; a great result for the club.

October Meeting

The annual October meeting was held at Allerton Court with guest speaker Michael Yates of the Logan herd. Michael gave a very interesting and informative after-dinner talk and presentation on recent farm developments and building work along with a look into the breeding and cow families that make up Logan Holsteins.
