On the 1st September we held our 65th Wexham Cup Bull Show & Sale, at Beeston Castle.  Results as follows:

The Wexham Cup Champion and Reserve going on to make the top prices of 4,200 and 3,050 guineas respectively. 

39 people and 38 suitcases (ask the chairman!) went on our trip to the The Dairy Show, at Shepton Mallet. We also enjoyed seeing the SS Great Britain in Bristol and the Lions of Longleat. A theatre trip to see “A Room With a View” starring Felicity Kendall gave us more of a view than we bargained for!  

 

Winners from the Combined Calf Show at Market Drayton went forward to ABAB where they put in a fantastic performance as 2016 winners in overall points in the calf classes.  Our junior and intermediate showmanship entries stood in the top five of their classes and Western’s Jodie Nutsford won the Little Star Award.  Congratulations to everyone who took part and the club would like to thank everyone who put in the hard work to get the team there.
