Members enjoyed a very different but interesting farm walk hosted by the Throup family of Nun Monkton Estate. Having a tour of the dairy, poultry, arable and hydro power enterprises. Topped off with a visit to Yorkshire Heart vineyard and Yorkshire wagyu burgers. A super evening! 

 

Our herd competition winner was announced amid heavy showers just before the Holstein championship at The Great Yorkshire Show. Yorkshire President Brian Moorhouse (Aireburn) was presented with his award by HUK President Mr David Perry.

 

Preparations are well underway for our annual dinner on Friday 3rd November at The Bridge, Walshford near Wetherby where our full herd results will be announced. Please contact Rachel Coates for tickets.
