SHOWMANSHIP AND CALF SHOW
The club held their annual Showmanship and Calf Show on Sunday 17th September, 2017 within Lanark Agricultural Centre, all under the watchful eye of Richard Graham from Cadgill, Canonbie, where he had 14 strong contenders for the title of Showmanship and 21 calves looking to all take the Champion ticket home between the 6 herds competing. Richard was very thorough with the task in front of him, giving feedback and reasons on every class as he went along – helping everyone along the way.

Class 1 – Junior (12 years of age and under on 1st January, 2017)

The club also presented the Tam Allan Perpetual Trophy to the Highest Placed Junior members, where we had 16 qualifying junior members this year. Junior Members can accumulate points from the Stockjudging and also the Showmanship. 1st Equal was Zoe Bryson, Carnduff and Eva Baillie, Covington, and in joint 3rd was Mark Bryson, Carnduff and Finlay Baillie, Covington.
