Full pedigree and BSR animals registered over the past two full months are
included. Animals with a date of birth of more than six months prior to the
start date have been excluded.
All figures on these rankings are estimated PTAs, otherwise known as Pedigree
Indexes.
The Pedigree Index League is ranked on Profitable Life Index (PLI), which is an
economic index expressed as a transmitting ability. Based on production and
longevity, PLI is calculated from actual survival information or, in the case
of imported sires with no Lifespan PTA, longevity is calculated indirectly from
type traits.
