The Royal Welsh show was another great success this year with an all time record attendance of 240,140 people – 8000 up on the previous record. This show is no longer just an attraction to the British but wider afield with visitors from 49 different countries registering at the International Pavilion. Click on the logo for more details.

Beef cattle, sheep and horses again had record entries although the dairy entries left a little to be desired and needs some encouragement.

Mr John Lawson of the Sweetings herd in Lancashire on his first visit to Builth Wells did not have a very large entry to judge although the quality was as good as ever.
