Judge, Mr David Booth, Lancaster
Holstein I.O.M, held their Black and White Spring Dairy Show on the 6th May. This was hosted again by the Shacklock family at their perfect venue, Oatlands Farm in Santon.
Show organiser was club chairperson Vicky Sloane-Masson from the Cairbre herd, ring steward was Mrs Amanda Collister and collecting steward was Mr Brain Brumby from the Fab Herd. A big thank you to everyone who helped out on the day and to the HYB members for the tidy up afterwards.
The Isle of Man Creamery were there, with their award winning cheeses and our HYB members got together to raise club funds by having a cake stall.
Our judge for the day was Mr David Booth from Lancaster who travelled to the Island with his wife Pam. His first task of the day was to judge our young handlers classes then on to the show classes. After a day showing, the club held an after show meal at the Glen Helen Inn where 45 members enjoyed a good old get together.
