85 dairy cattle forward for the monthly Dugdale Nutrition dairy show and sale with top price of £2,280 for a 26 litre homebred pedigree Denmire heifer having won first prize in the heifer class for P Knowles, New Hutton and selling to A Greenhalgh, Preston.

Second prize heifer went to J & M Singleton & Sons, Preston selling at £2,000 followed by J Seed & Son’s (Longridge) third prize heifer at £1,920 to Frank Wrathall, Gisburn.

D & A Blacoe, Lytham claimed first prize newly calved cow being a second calver giving 36 litres selling at £1,880 to T & M Green, Wigan.
