Auctioneers Greenslade Taylor Hunt were delighted to be on farm at Frome, Somerset for the inaugural production sale or 181 Pedigree Holsteins from the Withamhall Herd of DB & H Miles.

Topping the trade was the calved heifer “Withamhall Fever Bangle GP82” who had calved in November and was due again in September, off the Ex90 “Shottle” dam, she sold for 2050gns. The top priced cow sold for 2000gns being the VG85 dry cow “Withamhall Toscano Flinders” due to her 4th.

Incalf heifers by “Altaexacter” and due to “Lendary” (sexed semen) in September sold to 1600gns for members of the “Sandy” family, off two VG88 dams. The “Galaxy Kitkat” who has done well in the show ring and from two generations of Ex90 dams, was served in June to “Val-Bisson Doorman” (sexed) and sold for 2000gns.  

Maiden heifers 12 months old by “Atwood Brady” sold to 1020gns from the much admired “Cloe” family and “A” lot Heifer calves by “Picston Summit” sold to 540gns.
