Kivells Auctioneers of Holsworthy, Devon saw a fantastic day and a tremendous trade for their Mid-Month Dairy Sale which included the Production Sale from the ‘Hoops’ Herd on behalf of the Ley family who farm just a few miles from the auction centre. 

Top call of the day was £2520 for ‘Hoops Flower 487’ being a second calver yielding 46Kgs. Best Heifers topped at £2260 for ‘Hoops Bloom 119’ a freshly calved Heifer from a VG Heifer dam with a EX90 grandam and 3rd dam.

Over 15 lots on the day exceeded the £2000 bracket with the overall average of the Production Sale at £1925.
