<<< Back to Sale Reports

Hancox Farm, Stoke St Gregory was the latest venue for Greenslade Taylor Hunt’s farm sales team when the Parker family’s decision to cease dairy production brought their “Hancox” herd and surplus machinery to the market on Thursday 3rd May.

A strong demand for fresh milk saw the robot trained cows travel across the Country to a top of 1800gns for the March calved heifer “Hancox London Louise by “Willsbro Uno London”, another from the “Aerobell” family sold for 1750gns. The second calver “Keevil Galaxy Melba GP81” also sold for 1750gns as did the non-pedigree April calved British Friesian second calver.

The machinery started the sale and included Lely A4 Robotic milking machines which sold for £98,500 for the pair and £47,500 for the single. The 2017 Merlo TF42.7 made £44,200. The Claas Arion 530 Tractor sold for £29,800 and the Sherbourne Feeder Wagon for £19,500.
