Their top was £1780 for a calved Shorthorn heifer by Nejay Royalty with two Ayrshires selling at £1500 and £1450. They also sold a Jersey cross calved heifer at £1360.

A super consignment of in-calf heifers from the noted Maesyrafon Herd of Holsteins Based near Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire sold very well to many keen bidders. The property of well known Breeder John Evans, the herd has a reputation for breeding cows that are high yielding and long lived. The top price was £1850 for Maesyrafon Gail, a daughter of Kings-Ransom M Duce tracing back to the wonderful Gail/Tina family at Startmore Holsteins, Canada. She was purchased by Simon Davies of Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire who was one of the volume buyers at the sale.
