The cow class saw two good entries in Glynmyrddin Shottle Kariel VG85 and Einon Centurion Phyllis VG85 with the red ribbon going to the latter from Evans, Fagwreinon. She was a third calver by Deangate Centurion and was worth every point of her VG classification I'm sure judge Gerwyn Vaughan (Cilast) would agree.
The heifer class consisted of four heifers, again of the highest quality, with pedigrees consisting of some very high yielding dams. First in the heifer class was an absolute eye catching heifer, Churchvale Talent Star Maiden VG86 (2yr) who also went on to become Show Champion. She went to the Llanllwnni herd of Davies, Gwndwn, Pencader for 2600gns. A second heifer, also consigned by RD & H Thomas & Son was Edwern Ross Abbey. She came third in the class and sold afterwards for 2000gns to Llewellyn, Lower House, Clarbeston Road.
