Ross August Collective Sale Report- 22/08/13

The very well attended sale resulted in an excellent trade with calved heifers selling to 2,300gns and 2 others making over 2,000gns.

The top price of 2,300gns was achieved by Brownswood Farms, Worcester, with WR Goddard, Hereford, receiving 2,050gns.

There was a very good trade for the in-calf heifers which peaked at 1,900gns and others to 1,850gns, 1,750gns, 1,700gns twice, all from E R M & B M Robinson, Cheltenham. Their consignment of 15 in-calf heifers averaged £1,674.40.

Bulling heifers from Neil Samuel, Builth Wells sold to 850gns twice.
