Tresemple Dispersal ends the 2013 sales at SAC
Auctioneers Greenslade Taylor Hunt report a large crowd in attendance for the ‘Tresemple’ Dispersal Sale at Sedgemoor Auction Centre on the 17th December. The sale brought to an end a lifetime of hard work and dedication for Paul and Coral Richards.
20 lots sold for over 2000gns with a continued strong demand for fresh milk. The cows topped at 2450gns for the red and white 2nd calver ‘Tresemple Natalie Red 76th GP81’ by the homebred bull ‘Tresemple Arkansas’ she joins AD Bulled & Sons from Barnstaple who also secured ‘Tresemple Snowdrop Red 37th VG85’ a red and white 4th calver by ‘Pursuit September Storm PI’ that had given over 10,000kgs in every completed lactation with butterfats of over 4%.
The reds continued in demand with ‘Tresemple Model Violet Red 49th VG86’ and ‘Tresemple Rebecca Regina Red 100th VG85’ both selling for 2250gns as did the January calved Ex92-4E 4th calver ‘Tresemple Verity Delta 17th’.
The calved heifers sold to an average of £2146 topping at 2500gns twice for the VG85 ‘Tresemple Model Violet 53rd’ brought by Robertson Dairy Management and the VG86 ‘Tresemple Verity Delta 23rd purchased by CH & BC Corbett Ltd.
Incalf heifers PD+ 7 months sold to 1420gns for ‘Tresemple Karess 4th’ and ‘A’ lot heifer calves to 440gns for ‘Tresemple Princess Nanette 50th’ by ‘Comestar Lofficiel ET’ and out of a VG87 pointed dam.
