17-10-2014 - Heifers trade up to £2300 at Skipton

Leading trade at the October Show and Sale at Skipton was the reserve champion from A Lawson and Son, Arthington, selling at £2300.

Three weeks fresh this pedigree heifer was giving 28 litres a day and was knocked down to Richard Sutcliffe, Queensberry.

Making  £1980 was the pre-sale champion from Robin Jennings, South Stainley, she was knocked down to JG Williams. Calved a month and giving 31 litres this pedigree heifer from the Honeysuckle family at Stainbank is by Lutz-Brookview Burt.

Mr Williams also paid £1860 for a pedigree heifer by Ladys Manor Dodge from Robin Jennings. She is a fortnight calved and giving 30 litres.
