<<< Back to Sale Reports

The Hunday name has been at the forefront of British dairy farming and global genetics for many decades now and no one would argue the positive impact John Moffitt had on the modern dairy industry as we know it today. However time moves on and things change and as the Moffitt family explore and developing new business they felt it best to finally call it a day and disperse the remaining young-stock from their high regarded herd. Although no records were broken it was still nice to see the old cow families that have been timeless classics still selling so well. Hunday Album Dianna sired by Silverridge Album and bred from one of these super cow families sold for 650gns at just four months old. The Avril family was once highly sought after. Hunday Derek Avril sold for 700gns with the recently served heifers topping at 980gns for Hunday Brawler Highloght sired by Gen-I-Beq Brawler. Averages: 12 Recently served heifers £839.12; 28 Bulling heifers £628.12; 30 Heifer calves £435.40.
